Building
a Legacy through Connecting, Collaborating, and Coaching Networks
Connecting,
collaborating, and coaching are all important components in TCWSEs
efforts to building a strong support system for women administrators.
TCWSE strives both to ensure continued success for women who are pursuing
careers in school administration today and to encourage women to enter
the executive ranks, providing a strong leadership presence for tomorrow.
TCWSE was founded in 1984 to give Texas growing number of women
school executives a strong network of support and a forum in which to
share ideas. For more than 21 years, the council has fostered womens
careers by recognizing excellence and inspiring achievement. Join the
TCWSE network today!
Personal
Opportunity
TCWSE
offers its members a network of professional contacts as well as opportunities
to interact with peers across the state. Members find support through
regional and statewide groups, meeting other successful women administrators
eager to share their experiences and expertise.
Regional
Focus
TCWSE
members also may participate in regional councils. Through social and
informational programs hosted by these councils, members have the opportunity
to meet other members in their areas, while addressing topics unique
to regional school administrators in general and women administrators
in particular.
Annual
Summer Conference
The TCWSE
Summer Conference is held annually in Austin immediately prior to the
UT/TASA Summer Conference on Education. It represents an annual opportunity
for all TCWSE members to get together to discuss the issues and challenges
facing women administrators, make new connections, and meet old friends.
TCWSE's
